Bermuda Marathon Weekend Half and Full Marathons

Will you Survive the Bermuda Triangle Challenge, “3 races in 3 days”? Now in its 8th year, the Bermuda Triangle Challenge is your opportunity to earn “Big Time” bragging rights by running “3 races in 3 days”. Participants will complete the KPMG Front Street Mile, Bermuda 10K and either the Bermuda Half Marathon or Bermuda Marathon. Finishers will receive a medal for each of the 3 races and a special Bermuda Triangle Challenge medal to commemorate their achievement.

Hamptons Marathon and Half Marathon

The Hamptons Marathon course covers some of the most beautiful terrain on Long Island’s East End. Travel through wooded roads and past gorgeous beaches on a course that is generally flat and fast.

We will be supplying water at hydration stations located at mile intervals on the course. Several hydration stations will have Gatorade as well. GU will be available at mile 18.

There will be port-a-johns stationed at every mile along the course.

The marathon will be a Boston qualifying USATF sanctioned event on a certified loop course. For eligibility and qualifying times click here. 

The Hamptons Marathon together with Finish Line Racing will be using the gold standard ChronoTrack Systems™ B-Tag™. The B-Tag is a single-use RFID tag that participants have on their race bibs to record their time.

All marathoners receive a schwag bag with awesome gifts, an official technical t-shirt, a personalized race number, and access to post-race food and refreshments and an offsite post-race party.

All Marathon finishers receive a fabulous finisher’s medal and are eligible for age group awards. Custom designed plaques will be awarded 3 deep in each division.

The Marathon and half marathon share  the same start on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. The 10K will also start on Charles Lindbergh Blvd but on the opposite side of the median.

Presidential Inauguration International Marathon and Half Marathon

IMPORTANT RACE DAY INFORMATION:

Parking is available in parking fields 1 and 2 , and packet pick up will take place in  a tent next to the Fieldhouse from 7:30am to 8:45am . Race day registration will be available for $25, cash or check. 

This event has been selected by Marathon Adventures
 to be the North American venue for its “Triple 7 Quest,” involving seven marathons or seven half marathons on seven continents in seven days, and a field of about 25-30 folks from all over the world will be attempting this feat. 
 
Yes, we know it’s January, but you would be probably be going out for a long Sunday run anyhow, so why not do it at Eisenhower Park with some of your regular running buddies and new friends from all over the world?

20th Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival

Marathon: The race starts at 9:00 AM on Main Street (Route 9) in the town of Schroon and heads north. Runners will complete one full loop around Schroon Lake on paved roadways (except for one half-mile stretch of gravel road in mile 3). The first four miles are rolling or flat. Miles 4-12 feature short, but steep hills along a two-lane country road on the east side of the lake. Miles 13-18 are flat, along the east shore. Then, there are long, gentle hills on Route 9, leading north to the finish in the town of Schroon.

Marathon On-Course Amenities:
Water and Powerade sports drink will be available at 15 stations on the course–roughly every two miles until 20, then every mile from 20-25.
The finish area has water, Powerade, fruits, vegetables, and other goodies, as well as a tent for post-race massage.

Marathon Awards:
Each runner who completes the course will receive a finisher’s medal. Prizes will be given for the top three overall finishers (male and female) based on clock time, and top three in each age category based on chip time. You must be present at the post-race awards ceremony to receive your award. 

Half Marathon: The Northeast’s Best Half-Marathon
The Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival’s Half-Marathon was voted the top 13.1-mile race in the northeast region by readers of competitor.com and its social media followers.

Half Marathon Course:
It is a 10:00 AM start. The half-marathon will be held on the second half of the full-marathon course. The first five to six miles are flat, along the east shore of Schroon Lake. Then, there are long, gentle hills on Route 9, leading north to the town of Schroon.

Half Marathon On-Course Amenities:
Water and Powerade sports drink will be available at stations roughly every two miles until mile 20 (mile 7 for half-marathon runners), then every mile from 20-25. Finish area has water, Powerade, fruits, vegetables, and other goodies.

Bermuda Half Marathon—January 17th, 8:00am

The Bermuda Half Marathon begins at 8:00AM on Sunday, January 18th. The 13.1 mile course will start and finish on Front St. in Hamilton. Runners and walkers will enjoy many breathtaking vistas of both the south and north coast’s combining views of the changing shades of blue and green of the ocean with the bright colourful pastel hues of the buildings. Mixed into this are areas of lush greenery and fascinating architecture.
