5K and 10K info:  Start: 9:30 a.m. at the Town Hall on Rt. 9 in Chestertown.
Course: Both races are run on paved streets through the heart of the village.

5K and 10K On-Course Amenities:
There are two water stations on course, plus bottled water available pre- and post-race. Food and drink is available near the finish line.

1-K Children’s Fun Run:
Date: Saturday, September 24, 2016
Start: 2 p.m. at the Adirondack Marathon finish line in Schroon Lake.
Course: The children’s race makes a loop through the scenic town of Schroon Lake, starting and ending at the Adirondack Marathon finish line.
Ages: For runners ages 4-12.
Awards: All runners receive a free t-shirt and finisher’s medal.

The 11th Annual Smithtown Running of the Bull takes place in beautiful Historic Smithtown along forested protected park land. The run is almost completely tree covered providing a shaded run the whole way. The course has only one left turn and long straightaways that are great beginners and avid runners. The cool fair weather provides the perfect atmosphere for accomplishing a personnel best. Located in the middle of Long Islands north shore it is easy to get to. This race never disappoints with great food from the local businesses after the race. Not just bagels! Bring the family and plan on walking around town to the many restaurants or a visit to Smithtown’s Winery afterwards!

Free food and beverages, (free beer for participants 21 and over), entertainment provided for all ages, plus a DJ. 

The 1st Annual ACLD Walk/Run is perfect for children and adults of all ages and abilities. This fun-filled, non-competitive event is not timed and will take place on a flat, paved course.
